The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers.

As an insurance scheme, the NDIS takes a lifetime approach, providing people with a disability under the age of 65 the reasonable and necessary supports they need to live their life the way they choose to. You can find out more information on the NDIS website.

BRPOD provides an alternative or complementary service to other allied health therapies targeting goals for Core and Capacity Building through Improved Daily Living and/or Lifelong Learning:

BRPOD Complements the following professions as a Therapy Resource and Tool:

  • Speech Pathology

  • Occupational Therapy

  • Psychology

  • Optometric Services (Behavioural Optometry exercises)

BRPOD is a versatile tool for a wide range of clients in both urban and remote settings. It is a viable partner for Telehealth. 

Plan-managed and self-managed participants can utilize BRPOD technology under the following categories:

  • Core and Capacity Building

NDIA-managed participants cannot access BRPOD at this time.

NDIS Fees: 

Annual single NDIS License  $650  (equates to just $21 each session based on average use of 30 hours/year)

Personalized support, your own therapist, or do it yourself are all viable.
